keeping my fingers crossed, i had a job interview near my place yesterday afternoon. i'm so broke now i can't even purchase anything without looking at the price tag and thinking twice. after which we snapped some outfit shots and walked over to two face pizza for lunch. been wanting to try out the pizzas for a while now, always passing by this place while walking my dog but never got the chance to do lunch or dinner.
so here we are finally! we ordered vongole ($16), opted for 2 face pizza ($16) which is a chef's choice that changes weekly and their signature drink ($4) a concoction of sour plum, cai xing and pineapple *really good* even marc who swore his life that he will never do veggies liked it. its refreshing, and it doesn't taste one bit of vegetable juice or anything like that. the vongole was decent - liked the fact that it came without the clam shells though i wished it had more white wine sauce in it. and the pizza we ordered was layered with generous amount of cheesy goodness!
while scrolling through the geotagged pictures on instagram, i saw someone commented "no they don't sell yong tau foo" on one of the signboards hung there - which isn't entirely true because if you are familiar with the place, the same location sells yong tau foo by day, and their ytf are really popular so by 2pm they have already sold out for the day #truestory. which now leaves me to think that it was a brilliant idea to share the space because it would be empty anyway! hope you guys enjoy this food recommendation!
