Tyrwhitt Afternoon

Saturday, 16 August 2014

the above set of images are probably three months overdue, chucked aside in my cluttered desktop but hardly forgotten. this was back in may, where naiise held their pop up store at king george road. the concept of naiise reminds me of the hong kong label - goods of desire, where local "old school" items were given a new life via contemporary adjustments. i certainly do love the quirky items naiise have curated.  in more recent news, i believe they are currently at orchard central till the 24th of august. hashtag go support local!

we then braved the heat and walked over to chye seng huat hardware for brunch. i honestly didn't quite get their cold brew coffee - it taste really weird despite pouring all the milk and sugared syrup given (i don't normally do this for my lattes). does anyone knows why? gosh the inner caffeine addict in me needs to know how to enjoy it. my overall opinions? we'll be back because the crab meat aglio olio was surprisingly good.
